As a result of the examination, the following results were obtained for the Reiwa 1st Year Reading Impression Contest.
At the award ceremony held on November 27 (Wednesday), the director of the library, Professor Kuramochi, gave a certificate of merit and an extra prize to Mr. Kimura of the Hidemine Prize, Mr. Eguchi and Mr. Suehiro of the Library Prize, and Mr. Mizuno of the honorable mention. The extra prize was awarded.
Professor Kuramochi was awarded a participation prize to all applicants. (Thank you, teacher!)

The Recycling Fair for Reiwa was held during the lunch break from October 28 (Mon) to October 30 (Wed).
This year, the number of users on the first day was not as large as expected, but on the second day it was revived and a total of 194 books were picked up in three days.
I was impressed by the people who participated in selecting magazines with fun!
This year, we also held a magazine supplement lottery (for those who borrowed materials from the library during the period), but we also applied a lot.

Book hunting for 2019 was held at Junkudo Bookstore Asahikawa Store on October 21 (Monday), a day after the National College of Technology Festival cleanup.
This year, six students participated and a total of 79 books were newly added to the library collection.
From literary books, specialized books to practical books, it has a wonderful assortment that shows the individuality of the chosen person.
Some items have already been borrowed, but they are on display in the New Arrivals section of the library, so please take a look!
Book hunting is an event that has a core fan, with the satisfaction of everyone who participated is high, and there are some students who participate every year.
The event will be held next year, so please look forward to your participation!

About 500 books and DVDs purchased at the end of 2018 are introduced in the newly arrived book section.
The mini corner in front of the counter received the 2019 Bookstore Awards announced on April 9 and continues to introduce nominated works of the year and awarded & nominated works for the past several years.

2018 fiscal year

The 2018 recycling fair was held during the lunch break from October 29 (Mon) to October 31 (Wed).
A lot of people visited during the implementation period, and 267 books were collected in three days.
In addition, there were many applications for magazine supplement lotteries for those who borrowed library materials during the period.

Book hunting was held at Junkudo Bookstore Asahikawa on Monday, October 22nd.
In this event, students will select library books, think about library collections, select books they want to put in the library, books they want to read, and purchase books that meet student needs This is done every year for the purpose of making the library more accessible and making it more accessible. This year, five students participated and selected a total of 56 books in various genres, including literature, information, and natural sciences.
These books have special corners in the library and are on display.
