Department of Mechanical Systems Engineering

What do you think of “machine”? “Machine” exists in a wide range from household appliances to large-scale ones such as power plants. The Department of Mechanical Systems Engineering can learn such "machinery" from various perspectives, such as design, manufacturing, analysis, and inspection.
There are many machine tools that can not be seen in everyday life in the training factory in the school, and working with them is a unique experience of a college of technology.
At first there may be some unfamiliar work or words you do not understand, but the distance to the teachers is so close that you can easily ask questions and solve your questions. Another characteristic is that the three computer rooms are always available and that you can study without any inconvenience.
As the grade increases, you can deepen your expertise in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, material mechanics, mechanical mechanics, etc., so that you can use them for both employment and further study.
Even if you have no knowledge of machines at first, there are many people who have been interested since entering colleges of technology. Why don't you have fun learning "machinery" with your trusted teachers and friends who you care for?

Department of Electrical and Information Engineering

Have you ever thought "What's inside your smartphone?" Or "I want to know how videos can be watched on the Internet!"
In our department, you can learn a wide range of "electricity" and "information" that are very closely related to our lives, and learn how they are useful in society. Although you can study university-level studies professionally from first grade, you do not suddenly study difficult formulas and theorems. It's okay because the teachers will teach you from the basics clearly and easily.
One of the attractions of the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering is that it is possible to actually perform experiments, such as measuring with measuring instruments that are not familiar to us or moving a personal computer with programming. Students will be able to see and confirm the knowledge they have learned in classrooms through experiments and practical training, which will deepen their understanding.
We look forward to coming to the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering, where you can learn about the learning that has made people's lives more convenient and enriched!

Department of System Control and Information Engineering

Asahikawa National College of Technology can study various fields of electrical, mechanical, and information systems. To put it plainly, you learn about electrical circuits, run large machines in a training plant to make parts, and learn about programming with a personal computer. At first, professional classes that seemed to have no connection at all seemed to become more and more interesting as the grades increased, and it would be interesting to know when that happened. In addition, since the control department can learn various fields, the range of choices in the future expands. But it is up to you to expand that choice. I think that there is such an environment in National Institute of Technology(KOSEN), Asahikawa College, regardless of the control department, that you can approach and achieve your goals if you work positively, not passively, on everything. At first, I entered the school because of my fondness for making things, but now I am listening to the advice of my seniors and teachers and working hard with my colleagues who are working towards the same goal.
Everyone reading this, why don't you do your best together? I am waiting in the control department!

Department of Materials and Chemical Engineering

“Chemistry” is greatly involved in our lives. “Chemical” technology is used not only for additives in food, but also for field fertilizers and pharmaceuticals. "Chemistry" is an important discipline that is widely used in many fields. The Department of Material Chemistry Engineering is a department where you can learn such knowledge of chemistry from the basics.
In the first and second graders, there are many subjects and classes that firmly solidify the basics, such as basic chemistry and basic chemistry training. , Can understand immediately.
Even if you do not understand, the teachers will gently and carefully teach you, so you can understand, and as you gain new knowledge, you will feel that chemistry is fun! I can.
In addition, you can improve your skills by actually using the knowledge you acquired in your regular classes in experiments.
If you are interested in chemistry or biology, or would like to work on chemistry or biology in the future, why not study chemistry with us in the Department of Materials and Chemical Engineering.
